The Evaluation form used in Junior Showmanship is still undergoing some slight changes and will continue to change and evolve.
At present it is divided into 5 categories plus areas for general comments by the JS judge. The five basic categories under which an exhibitor is judged in JS is:
-
Appearance
- Speaking Quality
- Knowledge of the Breed Standard
- Presentation of the Cat
- Handling/Judging when two cats are presented
The Novice and Open classes use the first 4 categories only.
The Junior and Senior Divisions are marked in all 5 categories.
Below is an actual evaluation form from a Senior Junior Showmanship competitor.
